Ring the Bell!
Ring the Bell!
The title of this post is “Ring the Bell” for a reason. At our office, we have a large “ship bell” that resides outside of our CEO and Managing Director’s office. When we win a new project, launch a website or in general, something good happens, we ring the bell. Everyone in our three story office hears the ringing and it has become a great motivator.
Well, FGI has officially launched and we have rung the bell. It has been a hectic couple of months getting a new brand together (it’s amazing how hard it is, when it is your own), fighting over website concepts and informing clients. Honestly, it was exciting creating a new branding and identity package and arguing over the creative direction and architecture of the site. We may have disliked each other for that moment of disagreement over a certain image selection at the time, but the site and our brand are better for these arguments. Thank you to everyone for their hard work.
Strategy and Consulting Overview
After viewing a few other department posts, I thought I would briefly talk about myself. I mean, everyone else got to right? Okay, I will keep it brief. My name is Andrew Grinaker, Vice President of Strategic Services. In short, I handle all business development, partnerships, and client documentation (SOWs, contracts, etc.). I am the third longest tenured employee at FGI and originally came to the company after working for online advertising giant Marchex.
Our CEO, Scot Refsland, our VP of Client Services, Nate McLaughlin and I will be heading up the strategy and consulting portion of the FGI blog. We hope to bring insight into the industry on an array of topics including agency of record services, contract/sow(s), pre-production planning, client communication and more. Until next time…
