FGI Awarded Strategy and Consulting Contract with Northwest Harvest
FGI is proud to announce their involvement in a web presence project for Northwest Harvest. FGI will be providing strategy and consulting services regarding creative direction, website development, online marketing and business operations.
With exploring innovative new ways to use web technologies, FGI and Northwest Harvest aim to increase their food donations, help facilitate statewide resources and fight the hunger problem in the state of Washington.
“We quickly realized that the package FGI was presenting offered opportunities beyond what we’d originally anticipated for our new web site,” said Claire Acey, director of communications for Northwest Harvest. “Their vision and enthusiasm for the site inspires us.”
FGI is very pleased and extremely honored to be a part of such a worthy humanitarian cause. When approached by Northwest Harvest about increasing their web presence online, we were excited about the potential of this project, both online and offline.
“The potential and power of the web has allowed organizations like Northwest Harvest to expand their market reach while implementing new technologies and improving internal operations in a seamless process,” said Andrew Grinaker, director of online marketing at FGI.
FGI’s plans includes accessing the current landscape of the Northwest Harvest website and how it can be leveraged into more donations, more food, more volunteers and a tool to help expedite Northwest’s Harvest daily operations. A strong action plan will be implemented to attract and retain potential stakeholders and additional funding to maximize the potential of Northwest Harvest’s desired outcome.
Northwest Harvest is currently the only statewide hunger relief agency, distributing food from four distributions centers, free of dues and fee to 300 food banks and meal programs in 37 of 39 Washington counties.
