FGI HIRES MATTHEW LONGLEY TO LEAD CREATIVE TEAM
SEATTLE, MAY 16, 2008 – FGI CORPORATION ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT MATT LONGLEY HAS JOINED THE AGENCY AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR. IN HIS NEW POSITION, LONGLEY WILL PLAY A KEY ROLE IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING OVERALL CREATIVE DIRECTION AT FGI.
LONGLEY JOINS THE AGENCY FROM MRM WORLDWIDE IN SEATTLE, WA WHERE HE MOST RECENTLY SERVED AS SENIOR ART DIRECTOR, RESPONSIBLE FOR CONCEPT, DESIGN AND DIRECTION FOR TRADITIONAL AND INTERACTIVE MARKETING SPECIFICALLY FOR MICROSOFT. MATT SAID HE MADE THE CHANGE TO FGI BECAUSE “[THEY ARE] A YOUNG, FAST GROWING AND AMBITIOUS COMPANY AND I WANTED TO BE A PART OF THE INTERACTIVE CULTURE.”

MOVING OUT WEST TO WASHINGTON LANDED MATT AT AFFINITY PUBLISHING AS ART DIRECTOR WHERE HE INTEGRATED WEB AND PRINT DESIGNS FOR HIGH-TECH COMPANIES BEFORE MOVING ON TO MRM.
LONGLEY RECEIVED HIS DEGREE FROM SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT IN STUDIO ART AND GRAPHIC DESIGN. HE IS MARRIED AND HAS A DAUGHTER THAT IS CURRENTLY A FRESHMAN IN COLLEGE AND TWIN BOYS AT HOME.
