Valley Medical Launches Redesigned Site
FGI and Valley Medical are proud to announce the redesigned ValleyMed.org website. With the launch of their integrated marketing campaign through print and TV, Valley Medical wanted to redesign their site and improve development features.
"As Valley Medical Center has expanded its healthcare and life-saving services to meet the rapidly growing needs of South King County, our Web site grew more complex,” said Amy McElroy, Web and Marketing Manager at Valley Medical Center. “Visitors who came to our virtual front door sometimes struggled to locate the information they needed. We wanted to improve their online experience and leverage the site design to better personify VMC's new messaging, core brand and values.”
Working off the conceptual design of the marketing campaign, FGI provided an updated design and navigation structure to allow for an easier flow to the site. Removal of redundant content and homepage channels were created to drive visitors to targeted areas of the site. Improvements to several development functions were also implemented during the redesign project.
"Our new site earns raves from visitors for its attractive, approachable design,” McElroy said. “Wayfinding is much improved, and our Doctor search engine now includes geographic location. In addition, our automated events calendar saves us from having to remember to update seminar information each month."
